As a child I loved reading detective novels. There was something magical about the unfolding of a mystery. I admired the art of a detective and it has somehow inspired me to take a lifelong quest on my own detective project; how does the body work, and how do I master my craft as a body and soul whisperer? I have been investigating how to support my own body and quite a few hundred others to recover from set-backs and insults. Without a word of a lie, I have used every year of my life, since the age of 17, to thoroughly research the functional, structural and energetic dynamics of the body to develop my own best practice for health and living a life aligned with the soul’s wisdom. I have done this through study and observing what I find with my kinesiology consultations. It has been a wondrous and insightful quest and I love that I can share this with people in my kinesiology and kaHuna massage consultations.
My spirit urged me to take this quest to another level when I decided to act on my dreams as an author. It was my pleasure to deliver ‘Melting Moments, the delectable art of nourishing the soul’, with the help of Ocean Reaves publishing company in 2019. Despite the fact that a global pandemic over-shadowed my tiny voice of positivity, hope and faith, I appreciate the heart-centred people who purchased my book. I am so grateful for so much positive feedback that affirmed my courage for going so public with a story and creation dear to my heart. And I was particularly touched by the fact that my primary school teachers attended my book launch and commented on my love for story writing and the relationship that I had with my thesaurus, which I remember well.
Now in 2024, again I have been called to share my investigations in a whole new way. Again it has demanded a lot of courage and perseverance, yet the test of time has affirmed to me that when the heart calls, one must answer. My book ‘Melting Moments’ elucidates my story of the way that the notorious melt-downs in life make way for the heart’s path to be established.
My dream now is to empower more people with the wisdom of the body, heart and soul. I have so much to share around this topic and don’t have the time to go into depth with it in my consultations.
